First Aid Training for our students

The Career Guidance Unit of the University of Ruhuna has scheduled two workshops to give the First Aid Training for our students with the collaboration of Galle Medical Association. We select the students from 1000 level and 2000 levels only.

Session 02 - Faculty of Agriculture, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, and Technology

2022 වසර උපකුලපති ප්‍රදාන සඳහා කළමනාකරණ හා මූල්‍ය පීඨ සිසුන්ගෙන් අයදුම් පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ. අයදුම් කරුවන්  මේ සමග අමුණා ඇති ආකෘතියට අනුව සකසන ලද අයදුම් පත් 2022 ඔක්තෝබර් මස 21 දිනට හෝ ඊට ප්‍රථම පීඨාධිපති කාර්‍යාලය වෙත භාර දිය යුතු වන අතර ප්‍රමාදවී භාර දෙන අයදුම්පත් ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරනු ලැබේ.

Students are informed that the applications are called for the Vice Chancellor's awards for the year 2022. Submit your applications, prepared according to the attached specimen application to the office of the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance, on or before 21st October 2022. Delay applications will be rejected.

Inter Faculty Dancing Competition 2022

Dear Students,

The Faculty of Management and Finance is accepting applications for group members for the Dancing Competition 2022 (Free Style - Group event) organized by the University of Ruhuna. All the applicants must complete the accompanying application form and submit it to the provided email address on or before October 5, 2022.  All the details related to the competition is attached herewith.

Along with the application, you should send us a  short dancing performance video clip to the same email address given in the resources folder before the deadline, for the selection procedure.

Personality Development Program by the CGU for 2000 and 3000 Level

The CGU has planned a  Personality Development Training Program for the undergraduates with the collaboration of Chamber of Academy, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Colombo 02. The aims of this Training Program are to share knowledge about the attitudes, qualities, and employability skills development required to adapt to the world of work. 

The workshops are planned to be conducted  on 26th, 27th, and 28th September 2022 from 06.00pm. to 08.00pm via Zoom. Those who complete this training successfully (attendance compulsory) will be eligible for obtaining a certificate offered by the Chamber Academy.

5 students from 2000 Level and 5 students from 3000 Level can be nominated by the Faculty for this event. The slots will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Please fill the below google form if you are willing to participate in this workshop. The acceptance of nominations will close on 20th September 11.30 p.m.

Personnel economics is concerned with the economic perspectives of the key human resource management functions and the labor market behaviour. It provides an understanding of concepts, theories, and models of personnel economics for making rational decisions on human resource issues.
